Investment Policy
The Fund has a policy to invest in units of a foreign mutual fund (the “Master Fund”) that invests in equities. On average, over an accounting year, the Fund will invest not less than 80% of its net asset value (“NAV”) in the Master Fund. The Fund will invest in units of the Roundhill Memory ETF (the “Master Fund”), denominated in U.S. Dollars (USD), which is listed and traded exclusively on the Cboe BZX Exchange, Inc. (“Cboe BZX”) in the United States. The Master Fund is established and domiciled in the United States of America (“USA”). The Master Fund is advised by Roundhill Financial Inc. (“Roundhill” or the “Adviser”), which is responsible for overseeing the operations and investment program of the Master Fund. Exchange Traded Concepts, LLC (“ETC” or the “Sub-Adviser”) serves as the sub-investment adviser and is responsible for managing the investment program of the Master Fund in accordance with its investment objective. In addition, the Master Fund is regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“U.S. SEC”), the principal securities regulatory authority in the United States, which is a full member of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (“IOSCO”). The Roundhill Memory ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) that seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in equity securities of companies engaged in the semiconductor memory business (“Memory Companies”). Under normal circumstances, the Master Fund primarily invests in equity securities of Memory Companies. However, the Master Fund may also obtain investment exposure to Memory Companies through derivatives, including swap agreements and forward contracts. The Fund will invest in foreign securities and, as a result, will have, on average during an accounting year, a net exposure to foreign investment risk of not less than 80% of its NAV, or such percentage as may be prescribed by the Office of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand (“SEC Office”). For the remaining portion of its assets, the Fund may invest in units of inverse-managed ETFs solely for portfolio management purposes. The Fund may, at the discretion of the fund manager, invest in derivatives for hedging purposes against foreign exchange rate risk, with the hedging ratio ranging from 0% to 105% of the Fund’s foreign investment exposure. The Fund may invest in other mutual funds managed by the same asset management company (Cross Investing Fund) in an aggregate amount not exceeding 20% of the Fund’s NAV. Management Style The Fund seeks to achieve investment results that closely correspond to the performance of the Master Fund. The Master Fund is actively managed.
