Investment Objective
The Fund adopts a feeder fund strategy by investing in the Pictet – Robotics, Class I USD (the “Master Fund”), a Luxembourg-domiciled undertaking established under Luxembourg law as a SICAV and managed by Pictet Asset Management (Europe) S.A. The Fund will allocate, on average, at least 80% of its net asset value (NAV) during an accounting period to the Master Fund.
Investment Policy
The Fund will primarily invest in units of an offshore collective investment scheme (the “Master Fund”), with an average investment of not less than 80% of its Net Asset Value (NAV) during an accounting period. The Master Fund in which the Fund will invest is Pictet – Robotics, Class I (USD), a Luxembourg-domiciled fund established under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and structured as a SICAV (Soci?t? d’Investissement ? Capital Variable). The Master Fund is managed by Pictet Asset Management (Europe) S.A. Pictet – Robotics (the “Master Fund”) seeks to achieve capital growth through investments in equity securities and/or equity-related instruments, including but not limited to convertible bonds, warrants, American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs), issued by companies that are engaged in, associated with, or expected to benefit from developments in the robotics industry and related technologies. The Master Fund primarily invests in companies involved in various aspects of the robotics ecosystem, including robotic applications and components, automation and autonomous systems, microcontrollers, sensor technologies, 3D printing, data processing systems, computer vision technologies, motion and voice recognition technologies, as well as other technology- and software-related businesses, in accordance with applicable investment regulations and requirements. The Fund may, at the discretion of the Fund Manager, invest in financial derivative instruments (FDIs) for the purpose of hedging foreign exchange rate risk. LH Robotics Fund-E aims to generate investment returns that closely correspond to the performance of the Master Fund through a passive investment approach. The Master Fund, in turn, seeks to deliver returns in line with its designated benchmark through a passive management strategy.
