Investment Policy
The Fund focuses on investing in units of a foreign mutual fund (the “Master Fund”) that invests in equities and/or companies within the financial services sector. The Fund will invest, on average over an accounting year, at least 80% of its net asset value (NAV) in the Master Fund. LH US Financial Fund invests in the iShares U.S. Financial Services ETF (the “Master Fund”), denominated in U.S. dollars (USD) and listed on the NYSE Arca. The Master Fund is established in the United States and managed by BlackRock Fund Advisors (BFA). Master Fund Investment Objective The iShares U.S. Financial Services ETF seeks to track the investment results of the Dow Jones U.S. Financial Services Index (the “Benchmark Index”). The Benchmark Index comprises securities classified within the Financial Services sector, including companies operating in the following industries: Banks Asset Managers Consumer Finance Specialty Finance Investment Services Mortgage Finance The Master Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in securities included in the Benchmark Index, which consists primarily of large- and mid-capitalization companies. The remaining portion (up to 20% of assets) may be invested in: Futures contracts Options Certain types of swaps Cash and cash equivalents Money market funds advised by BFA or its affiliates Securities not included in the Benchmark Index that BFA believes will help the Fund closely track the Index’s performance Use of Derivatives The Thai Fund may utilize derivatives for: Efficient Portfolio Management (EPM); and/or Currency Hedging to mitigate foreign exchange risk, at the discretion of the Fund Manager, based on prevailing market conditions and other relevant factors. The Fund may also invest in or hold: Structured Notes (instruments with embedded derivatives); and/or Other assets or investment instruments as permitted under the Fund’s prospectus and applicable regulations approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Investments in Related Funds The Fund may invest in: Mutual funds, Property funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and/or Infrastructure funds (Infrastructure Funds), managed by the same asset management company, with an aggregate investment limit of not more than 20% of the Fund’s NAV. Fund Structure Flexibility The Management Company reserves the right to change the Fund’s structure and classification in the future from a Feeder Fund to a Fund of Funds, or to a fund investing directly in foreign securities and/or financial instruments, or vice versa, provided that such change does not increase the Fund’s overall risk level (risk spectrum). Any such change will be made at the Fund Manager’s discretion, subject to market conditions and with the objective of maximizing benefits for unitholders. Unitholders will be notified at least 30 days in advance through the Management Company’s website and the websites of appointed distributors or redemption agents (if any). Redemption Settlement
within five business days from the day following the NAV calculation date, excluding foreign market holidays. Currently, redemption proceeds are paid on a T+2 business day basis from the redemption transaction date. The above change shall become effective from 1 March 2026 onwards.
