Investment Policy
Investment Policy The Fund has a policy to primarily invest in units of a foreign collective investment scheme (the “Master Fund”) that invests in equity securities and/or companies within the financial services sector. The Fund will invest, on average during an accounting year, not less than 80% of its Net Asset Value (“NAV”) in the Master Fund. LH US Financial Fund will invest in units of the iShares U.S. Financial Services ETF (the “Master Fund”), denominated in U.S. Dollars (USD) and listed on NYSE Arca (New York Stock Exchange). The Master Fund is established in the United States of America and managed by BlackRock Fund Advisors (“BFA”). The iShares U.S. Financial Services ETF seeks to track the investment results of the Dow Jones U.S. Financial Services Index (the “Reference Index”), which comprises securities classified within the financial services sector. The Master Fund invests at least 80% of its assets in securities included in the Reference Index, which consists of companies operating in various financial services sub-sectors, including: Banks Asset Managers Consumer Finance Specialty Finance Investment Services Mortgage Finance The Reference Index comprises both large- and mid-capitalization companies. The remaining portion, not exceeding 20% of the Fund’s assets, may be invested in futures contracts, options, certain swap agreements, cash and cash equivalents, money market funds advised by BFA or its affiliates, and securities not included in the Reference Index but which BFA believes will assist the Fund in tracking the performance of the Reference Index. The Fund may invest in derivatives for the purposes of Efficient Portfolio Management (EPM) and/or hedging against foreign exchange risk, at the discretion of the Fund Manager, taking into account prevailing market conditions and other relevant factors. In addition, the Fund may invest in or hold Structured Notes and/or other assets or alternative income-generating investments as specified in the Scheme and/or as approved or prescribed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and the Office of the SEC. The Fund may invest up to 20% of its NAV in units of mutual funds, property funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), or infrastructure funds managed by the Management Company. The Management Company reserves the right to change the Fund’s category and special characteristics in the future to a Fund of Funds, a fund making direct investments in foreign securities and/or financial instruments, or to revert to a Feeder Fund structure, provided that such change does not increase the Fund’s investment risk spectrum. Any such change shall be made at the discretion of the Fund Manager, taking into consideration prevailing market conditions and acting in the best interests of unitholders. The Management Company will provide unitholders with at least 30 days’ prior notice before implementing such change by publishing an announcement on the Management Company’s website and the websites of the appointed selling and/or redemption agents (if any). Redemption Settlement
within five Business Days from the Business Day immediately following the NAV calculation date, excluding foreign market holidays. (Currently, redemption proceeds are settled on a T+2 Business Day basis from the redemption transaction date.) The aforementioned change shall take effect from 1 March 2026 onwards.
